Customer survey results

As part of it’s ongoing customer feedback programme, Flint recently asked a number of key customers to complete a questionaire, rating service performance and communication along with how we compared with other Service suppliers.

Extracts from the results are given below.
100% of respondees would ‘Recommend’ or ‘Probably recommend’ Flint’s services.

100% of respondees were ‘Satisfied’ (or better) regarding the Quality of Flint’s Services .

100% of respondees were ‘Satisfied’ (or better) with  Flint’s Execution of Services.

94% of respondees were ‘Satisfied ‘(or better) with the Speed of Flint’s response.

71% of respondees rated Flint ‘Better’ or ‘Much better’ than similar Service Providers.

Flint will continue to analyse the feedback received and where appropriate will implement further developments to it’s services and customer approach to ensure that we continue in a market leading competitive position.

The Flint Academy goes live

Flint has launched the ‘Flint Academy’ which brings intensive training in mobile networking for ‘new to industry’ engineers. This initiative delivered in partnership with some of our major clients, seeks to bring in new skills to work in mobile telecommunications.

Focusing currently in the 2/3/4G mobile packet core, Flint are taking people with enterprise IP networking and classic telecommunications skills and providing intensive focused training to upskill individuals selected for the program, with the expertise to be able to support the integration, verification and operational support of the MME/SGSN and S-GW/P-GW/GGSN mobile network elements.

Flint has successfully delivered training for Vodafone engineers in the Cisco ASR5000 Series Multimedia Core Platform

To support the increasing deployment of the Cisco ASR5000 Series Multimedia Core Platform in mobile networks globally, Flint has on behalf of Cisco Systems delivered product training to Vodafone Egypt engineers responsible for the support of GPRS in the mobile packet core.

Flint has been upskilling one of its major UK customers new OAM staff in 3GPP mobile core networking

Flint has just developed and delivered a bespoke training package, based on it’s ‘jump start’ training concepts for one of its major UK customers on the technologies that underpin the 3GPP mobile core network (CN).

Delivered by two of Flint’s most experienced engineers, the 2 week training session provided a theoretical and practical look at circuit switching, packet switching, SS7 signalling and the transmission technologies deployed currently in the 3GPP CN.

Additionly the course helped the mobile operators ‘new starters’, understand the concepts and terminology used on the CN elements deployed and how they could begin to start performing basic operations and maintenance tasks in the network, as part of the preparation for vendor specific training.
